Mother's Day Women's Circle
For women who have lost their mom's
Loss and grief is a part of all of our lives. Yet, when mom passed, I found myself completely lost in how to grieve. No one taught me how to do this or what it would mean. The more people I talk to about death and loss, the more I realize this is sadly a missing ingredient in our culture. Someone that you love will die while you're alive, that's pretty much guaranteed. Learning how to support yourself as you move through the intensity of the loss is crucial in integrating this significant change in your life. Also, it is time to learn how to support each other as they will at some time lose someone they love. To share in our experiences and bring death out of the shadows and into the light is one of the greatest gifts we can give each other. While, I've had amazing support along the way, I've been yearning for the profound healing found in a circle of women.
After losing my mom and my grandmother in the last 9 months, I feel inspired to offer a women's circle this coming Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14th, 2017 for those women who have lost their mothers.
This circle will give us the space to share in our experiences of losing our mom's and allow for deep healing through listening and being fully heard. We will share our stories, cultivate tools to deeply listen and care for ourselves, and reflect on how you can keep mom's energy alive in your life. You can expect to talk, listen, write, reflect and connect to your heart.
